Hello! I am wanting to start off the series of blog posts by kicking us off with past projects. For this first post, I am showcasing the first ever Unity game I helped create in school, StrarLocked. This is a first person shooter / platformer created entirely in the Unity Engine with free assets from the Unity Store. This was a group effort, done by the team Silent Zebra Studios, of which I was a part of. My role in StarLocked was the Enemy AI. I also helped design some parts of the levels, but the AI is where I was the most focused. Out of all the enemies, only a couple are not ones I worked on. We had many different types, such as a regular scout type class, a rocketeer class, a flame thrower (which I was most proud of), and a grenadier class.

While working on the enemies, I was also tasked with creating the "Tutorial Hallway", as we put it. The entire hallway was designed by myself, which really got me working in the Level Design aspect, which I really enjoyed. This game was an act of passion, not something we put together for only a grade. We enjoyed our two months making this project. If given more time, we would have loved to see what more we could have done. But it did get me more comfortable with Enemy AI moving forward, as that is the task in the current (as of writing this) project I am working on, World War Chess. I hope that game is as interesting as this one turned out to be.
